Dr. King believed, “It takes empathy, patience, and compassion to overcome anger, hatred, and resentment.” MLK Day of Service is the perfect time to unite and center empathy as we honor his legacy by serving our communities.
Every year on the third Monday of January, we honor Dr. King and his tireless work for civil rights with a National Day of Service. Service empowers individuals, unites communities, removes barriers, and creates solutions that move us closer to Dr. King's dream.
