We want to invite you to get to know more about the roles of some of the people you’ll be working with on a daily basis- coaches and supervisors! RSVP to join our New Grad Forum event with Rhe and Ema. You’ll be able to get to know more about navigating the platform, ask the host any questions during a Q&A, express any concerns you may have as you prepare for your first shift or questions you have after your first few shifts, hear some tips from the coaches for your journey as a volunteer, become familiarized with the platform though a tour, and meet other new volunteers. My Sister Liv: A Virtual Screening & Panel Discussion

Description: MY SISTER LIV is a documentary film that features sisters Tess and Liv, who from a young age are inseparable, with what seems to be an unbreakable bond. However, as Liv enters adolescence and struggles with the relentless pressures of social media, depression, body dysmorphia, and often thoughts of suicide, her big sister Tess struggles to help her.
MY SISTER LIV is a rare and riveting journey into the life of a young girl and her loved ones. As Tess and her family learn to cope with unthinkable loss, they begin the heartbreaking journey to understand the circumstances that led to Liv's death and learn from experts who give real solutions and hope.

Feeling a bit uneasy about engaging in crisis conversations on the Platform? Want to help but nervous about how to start? Had a tough shift, and unsure about returning? Join us for "Preparing for the Experience of Crisis Intervention." This interactive session will explore the realities of volunteer Crisis Counselor work, offering insights on how to internally prepare for challenging conversations and effectively decompress afterward. You'll also have the opportunity to connect and share space with fellow volunteers through engaging activities. Come sharpen your crisis intervention skills with us! Whether you’ve been a volunteer with Crisis Text Line for a few months or a few years, these collaborative sessions, recurring monthly, are designed to help you refresh practices around core training concepts. During the first hour of the interactive session we will revisit the fundamental components of our training—including opportunities to engage in dynamic activities alongside fellow volunteers. This will be followed by a 30 minute open Q & A where you will be able to ask 2 Supervisors pressing questions in an informal and supportive setting. Bring a notebook, something to write with, and your curiosity.
