You’ll be able to get to know these coaches, ask them questions, and express any concerns you may have as you prepare for your first shift or any questions you may have after your first few shifts. Hear some tips from the coaches for your journey as a volunteer, become familiarized with the platform, and meet other new volunteers. We hope to see you there!

Come sharpen your crisis intervention skills with us! Whether you’ve been a volunteer with Crisis Text Line for a few months or a few years, these collaborative sessions, recurring monthly, are designed to help you refresh practices around core training concepts. During the first hour of the interactive session we will revisit the fundamental components of our training—including opportunities to engage in dynamic activities alongside fellow volunteers. This will be followed by a 30 minute open Q & A where you will be able to ask Volunteer Experience staff members pressing questions in an informal and supportive setting. Bring a notebook, something to write with, and your curiosity.
