July is officially recognized as BIPOC Mental Health Month 🙌 Beginning as Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, named after Bebe Moore Campbell, an author and mental health advocate, BIPOC Mental Health Month continues to promote awareness for mental health equity and support the mental well-being of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC).
This month, we elevate some historically excluded communities and learn more about their experiences and identities, which shape their access to and ideas of mental health and mental health care. Take some time this month to learn something new about how culture, community, and connections shape well-being and how you can support these communities.
