We want to invite you to get to know more about the roles of some of the people you’ll be working with on a daily basis- coaches and supervisors! RSVP to join our New Grad Forum event with Coaches Maggy and Jojo. You’ll be able to get to know more about navigating the platform, ask the host any questions during a Q&A, express any concerns you may have as you prepare for your first shift or questions you have after your first few shifts, hear some tips from the coaches for your journey as a volunteer, become familiarized with the platform though a tour, and meet other new volunteers. Come sharpen your crisis intervention skills with us! Whether you’ve been a volunteer with Crisis Text Line for a few months or a few years, these collaborative sessions, recurring monthly, are designed to help you refresh practices around core training concepts. During the first hour of the interactive session we will revisit the fundamental components of our training—including opportunities to engage in dynamic activities alongside fellow volunteers. This will be followed by a 30 minute open Q & A where you will be able to ask 2 Supervisors pressing questions in an informal and supportive setting. Bring a notebook, something to write with, and your curiosity.
